I sat a handspan from her feet
which lightly played the earth 'til bare
and scintillations heart held rare
would echo 'cross each winnowed beat.
~
her body was- the stern diction,
of mahogany,
motion-drift rhythm
of wind on ocean
sifting serenity in slow sketched echoes,
as I- searched tongues for perfect brevity
~
I sat, a whisper from her ear
in fevered flashes, gyral heat
as nervous spasms tamed a fleet
of passioned breaths that rivalled fear
she was a-
canvass of orchidaceae
melting in the amber hue
of sunset,
deep kiss of white river
on dawn skin, soft and full..
mais je survivrai à l'heure
d'assouvir cette faim d'amour pour toi
